Poem: “Dandelion Wishes”

Standard

My dandelion garden

Is my trivial delight–

Each golden head

Transformed

To fiery, balls of white.

Stooping, I break

One, hollow milky stem,

Blow away the seeds,

 And wish upon

 The silken phlegm.
