Poem: “I”

Standard

Cast me in the pool

of their contempt.

Oblivion shall ripple,

and I on jelly bob.

Eat me on the morning

when everyone goes,

Values will slide

just as foretold.

Weave me in linen folds

of rusty years.

Tomorrow will end,

and so will I.
